why is it that when i suddenly get offered more hours at my current work, that everyone now wants to either hire me or have an interview with me. Should i still keep looking for jobs?

it's no mystery that i have been looking for a new job. I cant really be bothered looking for a new job but work is becoming intolerable. They cut my hours as soon as i came back from annual leave which meant a $100+ reduction in my pay per fortnight. They've not been supportive and my manager (whom also happens to be a friend, but i dont know that this will last) told me i was "overreacting", so i told her you can be supportive if you think i am overreacting. This lead to a 2 and a half hour discussion on friday (during my work hours) with my regional and my manager to discuss the situation. As predicted they ganged up on me, and for every complaint i had it was a 'business decision', thats great, but you actually have to communicate that to people when you piss them off. My regional said that there would be hours available for me when i finish my exams and that i can work everyday i want. i havent been approached for any of these shifts and i know the rosters are already being made.
One of mum's close friends from her old work died of breast cancer 2 weeks ago, mum only found out today. She is gutted, and very upset, she went and spent 6 hours with the husband of her friend today.
we've been fighting lately. over stupid things. tonight's entertainment was about water and going to the supermarket. It wasnt like he was not already going, and that he wasnt already buying water. but apparently him taking another 2 waters off the shelf to add to his other bottles would be doing an errand for me, making him my 'errand boy' (which apparently he is not). all this because i dont want to go to the supermarket.
I have been asked to start blogging again.. it's been a while. okay ages. and it's jumped around a bit, but i am hoping to settle in. mononoke for those wondering is a very cool anime movie "princess mononoke".
